Writing Competition: One-Page Scripts

What We’re Looking For:

  • We are looking for one-page monologues. You can include stage directions if needed, that you can include on a second page.

  • Deadline: 10th May 2025 – all submissions must be received by this date.

  • Judging: Scripts will be reviewed by our team and volunteers at The Scratch Theatre

Competition Criteria:

We’re looking for bold, dynamic scripts that captivate audiences and come alive on stage.

Submissions should feature exciting storytelling, compelling characters, perfect for actors to perform with energy and impact.

​

What You Could Win:

  • £55 cash prize.

  • Your script performed live on stage by an actor and professionally filmed.

  • Featured on our social media channels.

  • Runners-up will also have their scripts performed and showcased online.
